Greetings Community Members, 

You are cordially invited to the 2023 Freedom Fund Banquet, hosted by your local NAACP Unit 1134 Bremerton Branch.  

This event will be held at the Marvin Williams Center on September 16th, 2023, from 5:PM to 9: PM.  There will be a reception for this event from 5:PM to 5:30PM.

The Keynote Speaker for this event is Attorney Nick W. Brown, former Western Area U.S. Attorney.  

Community members to be recognized this year include:

• Pastor Frankie Coleman – Community Service Award

• Roosevelt Smith – African American Community Historian Award

• Julius “Doc” Blackwell – Community Service Award

• David Stewart – Community Service Award 

• Shirley Marty Crutcher – Community Trailblazer Award

The banquet will include a silent auction, dessert dash, dinner, award show, youth empowerment, and networking.
