Tracy S. Flood, ESQ
ACT-SO Chair
Tracy Flood is originally from Chicago and moved to Kitsap County, Washington, while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. She graduated from Olympic College with an AA degree and the University of Washington with two BA degrees. She holds a JD and an LL.M from Seattle University School of Law.
With a distinguished legal career spanning 24 years, she has served in various leadership roles and received numerous awards. She was President of the Kitsap County Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers and served on the Family Law Executive Committee for the WSBA Section. She has also been President of the Pierce County Minority Bar Association, Chair of the Civil Rights Committee, and interim chair of the Civil Rights Law Section. Additionally, she co-chaired the Minority Bar Association's Annual Diversity Conference. She served on the WSBA Board of Governors and is a graduate of the 2005 inaugural class of the Washington Leadership Institute. She is the past President of the NAACP Unit 1134. She served two terms as the President of the WSBA Foundation Board, completing her service in 2024.
Tracy Flood was elected to the Bremerton Municipal Court on November 2, 2021. She is the first woman and the first Black woman in Kitsap County to be elected to a judicial position, making history. She has been featured as a writing contributor in the WSBA News and twice as a cover story in SU Law Magazine. She presented at the WSBA/DMCJA Pro Tem training in 2023 and the WSBA Solo and Small Business Conference in 2024.
